“ It had been a while since I last visited Filetto’s. I have to first rave about the chocolate chip espresso martini. Hands down, the best martini I’ve ever had—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Yum. We started with the artichoke appetizer and zucchini sticks—both were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked and every diner meal was spot-on. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the service was great. It was such a lovely evening with my family—great food, great vibes, and looking forward to our next trip in! ”
“ A neighborhood casual, Italian, restaurant for dining in or take out meals. I don't live in the area but make it a point to stop in whenever I'm passing through. Consistently good food over the years and a great friendly staff. Comfortable open seating with a variety of booths and tables. Saturday night music is a real treat. Some of the best pizza you'll ever have. Plenty of parking, easy access. Give it a try. Update: We decided to visit Richie since he was such a great host. Turns out that this Italian restaurant was trying an Octoberfest menu for a few weekends and it was fantastic! German food that was prepared to perfection. We had salad, chicken liver and bockwurst appetizers, potato leek and beer soup, and a huge portion of the most delicious Wiener schnitzel all chased down with some wine and beer. We'll be back to try out some of the other specialties before the month ends. By the way, Jenna is a top notch waitress. ”
“ I take the family to Filetto's 2-3 times a week. The food is fantastic, the service is wonderful and prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend the restaurant to everyone. You will enjoy the night and certainly return frequently to dine. Take out service is also a treat when time is a concern. ”
“ Great food, great service, great experience! I know some reviews mentioned changes over the years, but if you haven’t been to this location in a while, I certainly implore you to do so!! I think there has been recent changes in management and I am excited for this location to get its groove back. The staff is so warm and welcoming, and they truly care about their customers. It’s important to support local and if you used to dine here but stopped, you’ll be glad to know they are working towards earning back their loyal customer base. I will definitely be back soon and look forward to the amazing food and experience I know and love from Filetto’s. ”
“ I recently stopped by while in the neighborhood, and what a pleasant surprise! I hadn’t been here in a while, but the food was just as amazing as I remembered. The flavors, quality, and atmosphere all brought back great memories. It’s so refreshing to find a place that stays consistent over time. I’ll definitely be coming back! ”
“ Margarita pizza: Dough: 4/5 - favorite pizza dough is just flour, water, salt, and yeast - this had a touch of oil in it I believe. Overall still good, thin, and adequately cooked. Was quite floppy in the middle though, which to be fair, may be related to being thrown into a box right after cooking. Sauce: 5/5 fresh and slightly tangy pure tomato sauce Cheese: 4.5/5 good fresh moz with, I think, a little low moisture moz as well which I appreciated. Good amount and adequately cooked with nice coloring. Other: right amount of basil and a touch of dried herbs to add flavor. Constructive criticism: While they advertise brick oven pizza, mine was cooked in a commercial oven. I think they did throw it into their brick oven for a minute at the end, but definitely would prefer it a bit longer with the wood fire to get that charred taste. Also might help the floppy crust. Overall enjoyable, better than average in the area, and I will likely return. ”
“ 8/8/22 update - still fabulous We really enjoyed this restaurant. Turns out it was Monday night which offered pasta specials... the menu was full of choices. Dinner came with soup/salad plus beverage. I got the rigatoni campania in garlic/oil with canaloni and escarole and sausage, which tasted like more. The other dish was penne Florentina / with grilled chicken strips, spinach with melted mozzarella in a pink cream sauce. Wow... So good. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back ”
“ The food is incredible! Homemade sauce and mozzarella. Yes, they make the mozzarella fresh here, as well as the pizza dough. A real wood burning oven adds that special flavor . Best wood burning pizza on Long Island. The only thing better than the food is the staff. My waitress Jenna made me feel special with a smile. Alex made my pizza special for me and brought it to my table. ”
